Born from a Real Need
PacioBooks was founded in 2019 when our founders—experienced accountants and software engineers—noticed a gap in the market. African SMEs were either using outdated spreadsheets or expensive foreign software that didn’t understand local tax systems.
We set out to build something different: a world-class accounting platform that speaks the language of African business—handling VAT in Nigeria, mobile money in Kenya, and local currencies across the continent.
Today, PacioBooks serves thousands of businesses across 15+ African countries, processing billions in transactions and helping entrepreneurs focus on growing their businesses.
